"Father & Daughter Charged With Incest After Affair - But Should They Be?"

A woman opines on a case of legal oppression in Utah:
Ummm... No? Most sexual abuse is by a non-family member who is close to the family, a mother's boyfriend/girlfriend, or a step-parent, and more familial abuse seems to be by siblings than by parents. Besides, no-one knows how often consanguinamory actually happens, though I've done some estimates.
Well isn't that callous. I wonder how she'd feel if the police came 'round and demanded she divorce her husband on pain of jail time. She already acknowledged that laws against rape, molestation, and child abuse already apply in the cases she cares about.
